An English Beer and Curry Night
Did the British invent curry? No. Is there such a thing as British curry? Yes. In early nineteenth century, British memsahibs (look it up) served curry in colonial India, which subsequently became as British as roast beef. Remaining a prominent fixture in English cuisine throughout centuries, the uses and variations in curry has changed and expanded. Come for a night of beer and curry, English-style, at the home of Clare Kitchen and Peter Foster. Sounds like a delicious history lesson!
